Biography:
Graham Baker's first solo show "Facing the Sea", (1974) was an outstanding success. Since that time, over fifteen hundred paintings and twelve thousand reproductions have been acquired by patrons across North America and overseas. Best known for his nautical motifs of the fishing vessels and villages of Canada's Atlantic coast, he is currently working on a series of oils featuring the world famous Nova Scotian Schooner Bluenose II. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, studied under John Cook, Nova Scotia's foremost landscape painter and teacher. He has produced twenty-five shows and two thousand oils.Â
